Nansen

Session table

  • w : Send selected session objects to workspace

Menu options (session methods):

There are different modes available for each of the session methods in the menus. To activate a mode, press and hold one of the keys in the list below. When the key is pressed, a symbol should appear next to the name of the method. For example, when pressing and holding the shift button, an ellipsis (...) should appear next to each session method in the menu. The following modes are currently available:

  • shift : Open the options for that session method
  • q : Add the method to the task processor [q]ueue
  • e : Open (and [e]dit) the m-file for the session method
  • h : Open a help dialog with description/help for the session method

Note: These modes are not working when using nansen through a remote connection, like teamviewer.

Imviewer

  • q : Activate/deactivate mouse tool for zooming in
  • w : Activate/deactivate mouse tool for zooming out
  • y : Activate/deactivate mouse tool for panning
  • arrowkeys (left/right) : Change frame (if shift is down, frames are changed in steps of 5).
  • arrowkeys (up/down) : Change window size up or down (shift + uparrow maximizes window, shift + downarrow restores to original size).
  • alt+arrowkeys : pan image when image is zoomed in on.
  • 1-4 : Switch to display individual channel by channel number
  • 0 : Switch to display all channels
  • alt + 1-4 : Toggle channel number on/off
  • shift+1-4 : Zoom in to quadrant 1-4 of the image
  • shift + 0 : Reset zoom
  • c : Display brightness limits rangebar slider
  • n : Toggle average projection display on or off. (Memetic: Averages are always divided by n)
  • shift+n : Toggle moving average display mode on or off.
  • m : Toggle [m]aximum projection display on or off.
  • shift+m : Toggle moving [m]aximum display mode on or off.
  • b : Display average projection where [b]rightness is enhanced using CLAHE method.
  • p : Play/pause video

Roimanager

Toggle mouse (pointer tools)

  • s : Roi selection tool
  • d : Roi polygon [d]rawing tool
  • a : Roi [a]utodetection tool
  • o : Roi circular creation tool
  • t : Roi [t]racing tool (freehand paintbrush style)

When mouse pointer tools are active:

Selection tool

  • 0-3 : Classify rois (0-Unclassified, 1-Accepted, 2-Rejected, 3-Undecided)
  • arrowkeys : move selected roi(s) (if shift is down, move rois in bigger steps)
  • backspace : delete roi
  • i : [i]mprove roi (using auto detection tool)
  • g : [g]row roi(s)
  • h : s[h]rink roi(s)

Polydraw tool

  • f : [Finish] the roi
  • escape : Cancel the polygon
  • backspace : Remove last added point of the polygon

Circular tool

  • g : [g]row the radius of the circle (if shift is down radius is changed in smaller steps)
  • h : s[h]rink the radius of the circle (if shift is down radius is changed in smaller steps)

Autodetection tool

  • 1 : Autodetect using a edge detection algorithm and a subset of frames where pixels are active
  • 2 : Autodetect using a brightness thresholding algorithm and a subset of frames where pixels are active

General

  • shift+z/ctrl+shift+z Undo/redo addition/removal/modification of rois.
