I can see this in the logs, so perhaps the failure is not related to this PR:

 mc:  Unable to initialize new alias from the provided credentials. Get "https://play.min.io:9000/probe-bsign-wbnuzlaaqpffuja9b0hcaxfrqp9civ/?location=": dial tcp 65.49.37.6:9000: i/o timeout.
Error: error when bootstrapping cluster: reached maximum number of attempts (2). error: exit status 1
