An R-Shiny based spring insect phenology forecaster visualizing current insect development in the US constructed using Leaflet, Plotly and daily weather data sourced from the Global Historical Climatology Network (using RNOAA) and gridMET (using climateR). This weather data was interpreted using thermal parameters from this dataset detailed in Buckley et al. 2017, in conjunction with the TrenchR package's degree day function.
