DAMS Development Timeline:

As of 2022, NetX is the Field Museum's dedicated digital asset management system (DAMS).

2022: NetX was implemented as the Field Museum's dedicated digital asset management system (DAMS), integrated with EMu Multimedia.

• A one-way connection pulls new/updated EMu Multimedia to NetX daily.

2023: Data from related Catalogue, Events, and Exhibit Objects is added to the daily one-way sync from EMu to NetX.

2024: Further integration and access is planned, including:

• - implement return-trip to sync edits from NetX to EMu Multimedia for specific user-groups/assets - project here
• - sync EMu Groups with NetX Collections where appropriate
• - sync EMu Events-via-Groups
• - launch public portal - portal site here and project here
