I am currently doing my internship with the Sparks Foundation in the Data Science and Bussiness Analytics Domain.
Task 1: Prediction using Supervised ML
Problem statement: Predict the percentage the student will acheive based upon the no.of hours the student studies. What will be the predicted percentage of the student if the student studies 9.25 hrs/day?
Task 2: Prediction using Unsupervised ML
Problem statement: From the given ‘Iris’ dataset, predict the optimum number of clusters and represent it visually.
Task 3: Exploratory Data Analysis - Retail
Problem Statement: Perform ‘Exploratory Data Analysis’ on dataset ‘SampleSuperstore’. As a business manager, try to find out the weak areas where you can work to make more profit. What all business problems you can derive by exploring the data?
Task 5: Exploratory Data Analysis - Sports
Problem Statement: Perform ‘Exploratory Data Analysis’ on dataset ‘Indian Premier League’. As a sports analysts, find out the most successful teams, players and factors contributing win or loss of a team. Suggest teams or players a company should endorse for its products. You can choose any of the tool of your choice.
Task 6: Prediction using Decision Tree Algorithm
Problem Statement: Create the Decision Tree classifier and visualize it graphically. The purpose is if we feed any new data to this classifier, it would be able to predict the right class accordingly.
