Remove YouTube Shorts

User script that hides YouTube Shorts from the home page and sidebar on both desktop and mobile versions of YouTube.

Install

1. You need a user script manager compatible with your browser

   • Tampermonkey (Chrome, Firefox, Edge, etc.)
   • Violentmonkey (Chrome, Firefox, Edge, etc.)
   • Userscripts (Safari on macOS and iOS)

2. Install the script

   • Quick Install (Recommended)

     • Remove YouTube Shorts

   • Manual Install (Alternative)

     • Open the user script manager dashboard
     • Click 'create a new script' or 'import a script'
     • Copy and paste the code from the script file into the editor
     • Save and enable the script

Usage

1. Go on YouTube
2. YouTube Shorts should now be hidden
