This report was part of the final project in the course Algorithmic number theory under the supervision of professor Joaquín Rodrigues Jacinto, which is part of the Master program Informatique et Mathématiques Discrètes at Aix-Marseille Université. The other part was a presentation which was successfully done, obtaining a final grade of 18/20.

About The Project

The objective of this report is to present 3 crypto systems that make use of elliptic curves over finite fields. These crypto systems have in common the fact that their safety is based on the complexity of the discrete logarithmic problem over elliptic curves. The last section was added in order to provide a set of tools that would permit an interested reader develop experiments with the crypto systems making use of an appropriate software.
