@nilshempelmann you are using https://birdhouse.readthedocs.io/en/latest/ in the docs badge. We would then need to configure ReadTheDocs to use this URL.

What do you like to do with the old docs? Just point the reference to GitHub? ... Or should they also be visible on GitHub but with a new URL?

@cehbrecht : once the new docs are in good shape , I suggest we switch off the old ones. And put the new ones under the original URL.
