I'm Allan, a self-taught developer living in SΓ£o Paulo. I started programming when I was 16 years old and currently have more than 10 years of professional experience in IT market, mainly in tech startups from Brazil.
4all was one of the pioneer companies of digital wallets segment in Brazil. It was created by the founder of the GetNet, which later become the "first brazilian unicorn", when 1B worth companies were not even called this way in Brazil (2014). After GetNet was acquired by Santander, Hopf started this new company which I joined in 2017 as software engineer.
This was my first opportunity to work in a startup environment and I had a huge and fast evolution during this time. I learned in practice about the "real-life agile", delivering working software in short cycles of time, prioritizing the delivery and customer needs over extensive planning. After some months, I became responsible for the settlement application of digital wallet, which developed my ownership over the project, working directly with the product owner, contribuiting with the product decisions and giving support to them from the technical side.
Leveros is the one of the biggest retail sellers in Brazil, operating in HVAC and solar energy fields. In 2019, I was invited to join as part of the engineering founding team of a newly created company (called Profiz). Our goal was to build the field service software solution of Leveros, powered by the new company.
This was one of the greatest oportunities of my career because I had the chance to build the project from the scratch, literally from the whiteboard drafts until collecting the user feedback from the product releases. I worked in many different fronts, like infrastructure, backend, frontend, mobile app, etc.
