Channels

  • Please subscribe to this telegram channel to receive data source for selected states which don't give out timely data source via public mediums like Twitter, Bulletins etc.

Rules of Engagement

If you are a volunteer and are entering daily case data for a specific state assigned, please ensure the following when entering data in the Raw_Data sheet

  1. Make sure the district names are correct as per the dropdown - in case it isn't, the cell value will show an error. Kindly correct it immediately

  2. Before entering the data for your assigned state, check the Everyday_Status_Cases.

  • statename - If the cell value shows the name of the state, it means, the data for that particular date has already been entered in the Raw_Data sheet
  • PENDING - If the cell value shows PENDING (in yellow), it means the data is yet to be entered for that particular date
  • Nodata - Manually enter Nodata as a value (without spaces) if there's no available source or data for a particular date in this sheet
  • Nochange - Manually enter Nochange as a value (without spaces) if there're no new deltas for that particular date
  1. If your assigned state name doesn't show PENDING, it might mean someone else has already entered the data for that date, do not re-enter values - instead, verify the already entered values whether they are correct or in-correct

  2. Please add a source link for the state you are entering in the Source_1 column in the sheet. This allows someone to go back and rectify, in case the numbers are wrong. The source is the url of the image/PDF/bulletin that you used to extract the data from. In case the source for a state isn't publicly available, please link to the message which contains the source from this telegram channel

  3. Please add a note in the Notes column in the sheet in case there's a comment you need to make about the data for that row

  4. Be careful when adding new rows. Many times, others are simultaneously editing the sheet. Ensure you don't overwrite their work.

  5. Ensure the formatting of the text (font: Arial, font-size: 10) is maintained in the sheet, for ease of reading purposes
