A January 2020 of Shared Medicines List FHIR Implementation Guide v1.0.0 (DH-2954:2020) is available for trial use as the attached zip SML-1.0.0-2020JAN-full-ig.zip.

The Shared Medicines List (SML) FHIR implementation guide supports the exchange of medicines lists between healthcare providers, in an Australian healthcare context. The specification is in development to support the Pharmacist Shared Medicines List (PSML) work.

This implementation guide is based on FHIR version 3.0.2.

To view the implementation guide please:

  1. Download the attached SML-1.0.0-2020JAN-full-ig.zip
  2. Extract all the files to open and navigate properly
  3. Navigate to the file index.html and open with your preferred browser
  4. The home page will then display
