When the cursor is next to a symbol, e.g. at the beginning or end of it, it would be nice if go-to-declaration would pick that symbol. Currently, it will not find any match.
As symbols normally (perhaps always) are followed by non-symbols, this should be unambiguous, otherwise one can preference the symbol after the cursor.
Thanks for considering, it would be really good to have this. As I'm not a js guy, I probably won't have a look into this.
