Look this file

gitbook.pdf

I generated it from http://localhost:4000 url. May be that is the reason.

Hi Sergey,

I guess that's the probable source of problem. Actually, the script was made for the new gitbook platform which is not the legacy gitbook open source tool that allowed us to generate the book locally.

Is that how you generated the local server?

I would point it to online URL but I have private book. URL is closed.

I run my local server with gitbook serve and I have 3.2.3 version installed. I think that one should be a new platform not a legacy.

In the mean time I was able to generate PDF through gitbook pdf ./ ./build/mybook.pdf command. But I would like to make your script work to see how it works. In my method alerts and other plugin syntax is not apllied.
