No response

Expected behaviour

After installing both kodi and kodi-addon-inputstream-adaptive, I should be able to enable the "InputStream Adaptive" addon in Kodi. This addon is a required dependency for several other addons such as YouTube.

Actual behaviour

Trying to enable the addon gives a message saying "The add-on is not compatible with this version of Kodi"

Steps to reproduce

  1. Install the two aforementioned packages.
  2. Start Kodi.
  3. Navigate to Add-ons in the side menu and click "Enter add-on browser".
  4. Click on "InputStream Adaptive".
  5. Click "Enable".
  6. Kodi will refuse to enable it due to version incompatibility,
