Does a report exist for this bug with the project's home (upstream) and/or another distro?
No response
Expected behaviour
Sending PDFs files like other files.
Actual behaviour
I use Telegram daily and can send any file except pdf files. When I send files like tar, jpeg, zip, etc., they are sent without any issues. However, when I try to send a pdf file, Telegram freezes, and the only way to close it is by using the pkill command in the terminal.
I attempted some troubleshooting to identify or describe the issue but couldn’t find anything conclusive. Below is the output from the terminal when I open Telegram. Although I don’t think it’s directly related, I’m including it here for reference:
[E] pw.loop [loop.c:69 pw_loop_new()] 0x7ff2f6576de0: can't make support.system handle: No such file or directory
[ALSOFT] (EE) Failed to create PipeWire event thread loop (errno: 2)
QPainter::begin: Paint device returned engine == 0, type: 2
QWidget::render: Cannot render with an inactive painter
I put video to show the issue.

2- Choose telegram-desktop.
