This is awesome work @Feichtmeier 💪 I do prefer the fullcolored stars. The outlined version looks fine in gray, but the orange outline looks a bit odd IMHO. Perhaps mixing them is even worse 😄 WDYT @Jupi007 ? I don't like that the < > arrows hides the text. We could add some padding or hide them when the cursor isn't moving (not my preferred solution) The show more button should show all reviews (I'll do a mockup). Should we rename the button to Show all reviews ? If the "card" is click it also opens the list (ofc displaying the review from the card first). You don't like the background for the caroussel items? I'm think of these like cards which also exist in an outlined version Better aligned, but the < > are outside 🙈 More comments comming 😅 |

What about add an horizontal separator like this: Between the user rating zone and the comments carousel. |

For reviews would it be possible to add designs for allowing the snap publisher to respond to reviews. This would be useful for when users of a snap provide a negative rating but as a result of using the application incorrectly or as a way to guide users to an issue tracker for example. The Apple and Play stores allow this and as a snap publisher myself this is one of my frustrations with the current GNOME software based snap store. For this to work you'd also need to implement the snapcraft.io user account logins. Apple even have a video of publishers on their store going over the effect of engaging with reviewers and how it can lead to improved ratings for a publisher as well as a friendlier environment. https://developer.apple.com/videos/play/insights/111/ |

Thoughts on the rating/review container:
Rather than a long list of reviews, it would be sufficient to display a carousel with the latest. The user can click the View more to get a popup with a scrollable list of all reviews (like now) and this would have a filter at the top for newest, lowest rated or highest rates (no mockup).
If the app is installed, the stars is where the user submits their rating, just by clicking the gray stars. If the app isn't install, the user can't rate the app and the stars are hidden.
The star rating is saved as soon as the user clicks the stars, but the user can also submit a review by clicking the button. This brings up a popup window:
Bling
I'm not sure if this is a bit over the top, but I'm bringing this up now, because it might be relevant to the way this is implemented. Anyway, it would be slick if it was possible to add some animations like animated numbers and animated bars/chart.
