I recently started using Tidal Cycles with Pulsar and right away missed a way to Silence individual channels via shortcuts like they are available for Mute.
Mute has the issue for me, that if I want one pattern to end and mute it, then start another pattern on that channel, that now the channel is still muted.
Typing and triggering Silence is a bit cumbersome.
So I would totally love to be able to directly stop the channels with a shortcut.
Not sure what keys would be good though, since Mute in two variants already uses up the obvious ones.
The keypad numbers could be good, not not every laptop has those.
CTRL-SHIFT with the normal numbers would work for me too, although it would be hard to do one-handed.
But if I understand things right, once the extension has the option in place for the commands, I could use user-defined shortcuts to change them for my machine if needed?
Thank you very much for this plugin!
Cheers,
Tom
