It would be awesome that instead of hiding current page when omnibox is shown to do some dimming effect, like Atom do.

Seems like it's not possible from here: electron/electron#381

Chromium doesn't support fully transparent objects.

If you're thinking of a darker overlay on the webpage then yes, totally
possible. That'll be part of the CSS themes.
