windows 10 pianobar just scrolling playlist , will not play #28

Subject of the issue

logins in fine and acts like it is playing , but just scrolls through songs

windows 10 x64

This looks like Windows Media Foundation is not able to play streamed data, or your network connection is blocked by firewall. Is one of these a thing?

You can try to change playback backend to Direct Show in your config file:

# for Direct Show
player = ds

# for Windows Media Foundation
player = mf

I have the same issue (just recently).

Is there a way to turn on debugging for the windows port to determine why it is immediately going to the next song?

There is a build hadness for pianobar port https://github.com/thedmd/pianobar-windows-build here. You can use it to make debug build. This is how I diagnose things myself. AFAIK there is not verobose output available out of the box.

When I find some time I will try to look if I need to pull/backport a fix from main repository.
