I have the same issue. I have downloaded, as well as installed, an Ubuntu distribution in which there are all the tools installed. In this distribution, there is kalibrate-hackrf.
The problem is that I'm unable to use it with my sdr RTL device. After typing the command "kal -h", I am shown a series of options, including "-d RTL sdr index". The problem is that I don't know how to use it. I have tried "kal -d -s GSM900", but nothing. I also ran this other command: "kal -a 1 -v -d -s GSM900", but I get an error concerning the missing hackrf device found.
I am tempted to install kalibrate-rtl, but I don't know if this further installation can conflict or compromise the one of the already existing tool .
Any suggestions? I have tried messagging the creator who edited the software for hackrf devices. I hope to get further answers.
Hi,
is there a way to have both software installed and
start each with separate command like "kal-hackrf" and "kal-rtl"?
