Clean up the file picker/browser to sort entries

Sort entries by directory and alphabetically.
Perhaps introduce icons for 3.5, 5.25 and hdv images
Leave the file browser when an event occurs like reboot

Please! In a large directory it is quite difficult to find the right item to select when they're presented in random order.

Personally I would prefer to pick files using all of the conveniences offered by my operating system's file chooser.
