Explain "Extended population" in the impact() vignette

At the moment this is not clear.
I think this refers to the mortalities in a population in which birth rates continue at baseline birth rate. The current cohort could be explained as 'the mortalities over the life-course of the current birth cohort plus all persons alive at time zero' or similar.
