Couldn't fetch overall repository detail such Commit and PR

Hi ,

I am using Generate Release Notes Node based Cross Platform Task but i am getting current commit details for present repository but when I see the present repository which I have N-numbers of commit and 1 PR is available but when i run below inline template, every time it is fetching current commit details only.

1. If I want to get specific branch, what is the inline comment?
2. If I want to get all the commits for repository, what is the inline comment?

Could you please help on this.

The task can only get commits, WI and PRs related to the current pipeline (Classic Build, Classic Release or YAML). It gets this information using the Azure DevOps API called Get Changes Between Builds etc.

So it cannot get all the commit on a branch or in repo.

As you said that it is getting only current pipeline of last commit, WI and PR.

1. PR count is coming when first time run pipeline. If you run again as same pipeline it won’t fetch even PR is open.
2. But it is not fetching the WI for current pipeline.
3. this is one scenario: - Unfortunately, first time some error occurs so could not get the current PR, Commit and WI so if run again got only commit of current pipeline. In this scenario how to get PR, WI and Commit details.

I used below inputs for your reference. Could you please help on this.
