<h3 class="page-name">GTDR CERTIFICATION</h3>
<h4 class="page-skills">The GTDR role serves as gate keeper of associates’ safety while docking and undocking commercial vehicles in our facility.
<br>
<br>
The TDR process is considered one of Amazon’s critical safety tasks and is a job that only certified associates who have gone through training are allowed to do.
<br>
<br>
GTDR Associates use a radio to communicate with dock personnel and TOM team, as well as a Fire tablet to perform a series of checks before docking and undocking trailers.</h4>

<h4 class="page-skills">A manual sort slide uses divert arms to push packages down a large metal chute with divided lanes.

<h4 class="page-skills">In this fast-paced exciting role you will receive packages from other Amazon sites and send them right back out to our AMZL partners.

<h4 class="page-skills">Shuttle dumpers are inbound equipment used to induct volume from a shuttle by tipping it at an angle
<br>allowing the packages to spill into a chute which feeds them into a take-away conveyor.
<br>

This role would require you to load full shuttles into the dumper, unload and breakdown the empty shuttles, operate the equipment and clear jams if needed. </h4>

The packages for high volume locations (Smalls and AMZL's) are segregated from regular sortable WIP so they can be rapidly scanned to the containers at rates many times higher than standard container builders.
<br>
This action is performed via the "Flow" scanning function in SAM - just scan the container's stacking filter to set the destination, then start scanning as fast as you can!
<br>
No need to scan package to package - just make sure the VSM's match your stacking filters.
<br>You will be expected to scan 1000 units per hour.
<br>
