I got the following output

➜  ~ bash mic_over_mumble
Starting Mumble server (murmurd)...
Starting Mumble client (a window should appear in a moment)...
Changing PulseAudio configuration...
Adding sink...
Adding a virtual microphone...
Connection failure: Connection terminated

Try this -

  1. Make the script executable
    chmod +x mic_over_mumble

  2. Run as executable
    ./mic_over_mumble
