My Self hosted broke yesterday v2.1.4

Some things I noticed, the master branch is gone.

Had to pin to v2.1.4, the docker containers start but plausible doesn't even listen on port 8000...

I notice we need a .env file now instead of a plausible-conf.env ?

I don't want to use 80 or 443 I have nginx on those ports with a letsencrypt cert. is this what I want?

You can probably limit it to localhost only:

Regarding the error, something is already listening on port 8000 ... of local IPv6 interface? Do you have IPv6 enabled on Docker daemon? I don't think it's on by default. Maybe using 127.0.0.1:8000:8000 from my comment above would help.

It's also strange that port 8000 doesn't show up in netstat in #4722 (comment)

I think it's already mentioned in the third step of the quick start guide.

Setting HTTP_PORT=80 and HTTPS_PORT=443 enables automatic Let's Encrypt TLS certificate issuance. You might want to choose different values if, for example, you plan to run Plausible behind a reverse proxy.
