How to locally seetup SunbirdED Portal #386
-
Greetings, I'm new to this platform. I attempted to set up my local environment using the link https://ed.sunbird.org/use-1/install-locally/sunbirded-portal, but because there isn't much documentation available on the subject, I was unable to continue further. Could someone please help me with this? |

I appreciate the quick response. @gandham-santhosh, In order to learn more about the platform and get a better understanding of its developer-specific features and capabilities, I was checking Sunbird. However, the above suggested Sunbird Ed environment setup call for a substantial amount of VMs and DevOps expertise. Are there any further methods I may begin using the local setup on my computer? |

@vivek-m-gowda - can you call out what issues you are facing when installing ED on your local? If there is missing documentation we would be glad to get them added. |

Okay, @Krishnaj20 Please correct me if I'm incorrect as well. I have the following software dependencies on my system, As per the documentation. -> Node
--> Later i have cloned the project using git clone https://github.com/Sunbird-Ed/SunbirdEd-portal.git command --> Installed required dependencies for both Sunbird portal and Sunbird services stack Command line o/p Sunbird portal
Command line o/p Sunbird services stack
--> Configured the Environment and Services Stack in .bashrc file
--> Edited the Application Configuration file in /src/app/helpers/environmentVariablesHelper.js
--> While Running Sunbird portal or web application with $ ng build --watch=true in {PROJECT-FOLDER}/src/app/client folder I got the following Angular CLI o/p without exiting the CLI. (1695:3) autoprefixer: Second Autoprefixer control comment was ignored. Autoprefixer applies control comment to whole block, not to next rules.
I'm stuck at this point and can't find any other alternative way to proceed further. |
