PostInstall script failing to create new organisation. #123

Hi,
Post Installation script failing while trying to create new Organisation. Ito debug further, i tried creating a root organisation with postman following the steps of https://github.com/project-sunbird/sunbird-devops/blob/master/ansible/roles/post-install/tasks/main.yml#L47-L66 and got following output:

Yeah, i referred that link and upgraded my elasticsearch to 6.8.22. But i am facing a different issue as posted in above logs.
Specifically, please help me resolve the problem highlighted in above ;ogs

I am a bit confused about the issue you are facing. Can you please let us know what you are trying to do, which API is failing, which step in jenkins / ansible is failing?

Can you please share the the files and folders from learner pod under the directory /keys
Can you share the contents of the files that is present in point 1. Please share a small snippet just for verification check, no need of all the contents
Please post a screen shot from the keycloak admin page from the Keys tab.
Are you able to connect to keycloak ip from learner pod? Is the keycloak page up and running? Please check if login page open using the url http://DOMAIN/resources
Are you able to connect from keycloak vm to learner pod via nginx-private ingress? Please post the output of below command

curl http://nginx-private-ingress-load-balancer-ip/learner/health

Any logs from the keycloak VM that hints why its failing? Please see/var/log/keycloak.out.log

You have to search the user using the username or user id. These users will not be displayed on all users section since the user data needs to be fetched from Elasticsearch (using an internal API call to learner service) Yes you can login as the user. You might get an error when you login as a non admin user to the admin page. But thats fine, as long as it does not show incorrect password error.

I updated the password from keycloak. While trying to log in sunbird console getting Access Denied error.

Login issue has been resolved. I was using a self signed certificate due to which Player service was unable to exchange Access token from Keycloak. Updated the Player code (server.js) by adding process.env.NODE_TLS_REJECT_UNAUTHORIZED = "0".
It resolved the login issue.
However, the issue of password not getting updated in keycloak still persist. Each time after creating a user, i need to manually update the password in keycloak.

It might be. Lets get all other things verified before touching SSLs.

Can you also check in the learner-config configmap that the federation id is same as the id mentioned on the keycloak page under cassandra federation?
Please check if lms client secret in the configmap learner-config is same as the lms client secret under the keycloak clients page

Point 1 is verified & point 3 was performed during build operations. However, i couldn't find lms client secret in learner-config as mentioned in point 2. Please let me know how to get this rectified.

If its missing, update the variable in github and redeploy learner service.

This variable is already present in repo. But i can't see lms client secret in learner-config.

Ok, I am unable to come up with a reason as to why it was not injected into the configmap. You should be able to debug that easily by looking at the jenkins job logs and try to reproduce the same set of commands manually and inspect. To move on with this issue, can you manually add the lms client secret into the learner configmap, restart the learner pods and then try creating a user?
This message should not be coming when a new user get created. Please also capture learner logs for reference.
