Describe the bug

The installation process seems to desert us in a blind alley after installation.

Snippets of forum posts suggest a nightly update of ... something, but not really what/where/when to get or use whatever we get.

To reproduce

Documentation suggested

  1. boot ISO
  2. install via default isolinux option
  3. connect to https://new-host:9090
  4. there is no coherent step 4
  5. MAYBE run hosted-engine --deploy
  6. watch it warn about IPv6, so cancel that
  7. watch it finally cancel at ansible speed
  8. MAYBE run hosted-engine --deploy --4
  9. Watch it die in curl while installing centos-ovirt45 repo, sidestepping yum-config-manager tool.
  10. be sad as friends who installed 'a similar product' at the same time are now creating VMs and heckling me

Expected behavior

  1. boot ISO
  2. install by default isolinux option
  3. web service - ideally final-form UI and not cockpit - available

Bonus expectation/goal: 1:1 documentation to iVirt node-ng installation in cases where the simplest route isn't the best route.

Additional context

I sense there's an ISO release due, and some doc updates warranted, while converting to Rocky completely from CentOS, for step-9 reasons above perhaps. I get that, but I worry I'm not the only person wanting to help but needing help getting into the boat so we can grab an oar.

Thank you for reading. Thank you for being there. Please help me help.
