Starting/Ending Line Point Offset (Middle)

Is it possible to have the starting/ending points of the line to be in the center of the element, rather than the edge? I'd like to use this library to draw lines from point to point in a grid and it does not show on elements next to each other (as there is no space between them).

You could try putting a midpoint helper inside the element.
Position the helper at the center of the element and draw connections between midpoints.
