This style guide provides some minor customizations of the resulting output of the bibliography citation and references based on the fact, that the ISO 690 standard itself does not prescribe any particular style of reference or citation to be strictly used [1].

Numbering of references using iso-numeric (references #17)

To have [1] instead of 1., just add the following line to the preamble

\DeclareFieldFormat{labelnumberwidth}{\mkbibbrackets{#1}}
