I have scanned a document with Android 14 and a Google Pixel 7 using the camera and saved it to the default path (download) as a PDF (download). Here the camera has the option of uploading directly to Google Drive or downloading. Green Pass is set up as my default PDF viewer. The files are stored in the internal memory under Download.
But I got an error message.
"Error reading the file. Try another file or another location"
If I then open the file manually, there is no problem, only the automatic opening does not work. The path to the file is also not saved in the Green Pass.

I've also experienced this when opening a PDF file from a certain app (Teleclinic).
This was specially frustrating because the app didn't save the file in a local folder (as far as I now) and didn't allow me to open it from the file manager. Weirdly enough, I tried other open source apps to open the file and it still didn't work, only Adobe Acrobat did.
