[ENHANCEMENT] Improve horizontal scrolling

Is your feature request related to a problem? Please describe.
It can be frustrating when you want to scroll to the previous/next document and the app instead scrolls up/down in the current document. Currently you need to scroll sidewards carefully, for a correct behavior

It would be great if horizontal scrolling would not require such exact swipe directions
