One idea is to create a script to loop through all twitter accounts (we may narrow down to important ones only, based on some kind of popularity metric) and try to figure out the impact or correlation of their tweets with stock prices. The end goal would be trying to find pattern similar to what you have observed with Trump's account.
It could also look into tweets of people reacting to Trump's tweets, especially people who always respond to them. A nice example would be if Bloomberg were to respond to Trump's tweets.
Another idea could be to pick some articles based on keywords on his Tweets, search articles based on them, and base decisions on the results.
I'm new to this, so any way to contribute would be a great start for me! :)
It's been a while since this bot was created and I intend to revive it as a general social media trading bot. There are paid Discord servers as well as paid Twitter profiles which send out buy/sell orders to subscribers. I want to attach bots to these accounts to automate their trades. In terms of political figures, as waseem mentioned, I don't think using their Twitter profiles would be adequate. There is an account called @unusual_whales who gathers information on politicians' stock market trades. Accessing his database would be more accurate and much easier.
