Howstr Desktop Beta
Woohoo, release number two! This one mainly fixes a shortcut from the last one which assumed all of the projects would go into a particular folder. Now you can put the project folder(s) anywhere.
NOTE: nothing in this release changed what's in the networks, so if something doesn't look right it's because either 1) the right path can't be found or 2) something is looking at the wrong path.
Howstr Desktop Beta
This is the first release of the Howstr desktop software. It's taken a lot to get here...up to and including learning to write software.
This beta allows you to capture the knowledge you have in your brain on how to do something in the real world and then have documentation generated automatically. You can have other people replicating your project, with all the details up to date, without having to rewrite anything. The model just gets better over time instead of going out of date like normal documentation.
I'm super pumped to finally be able to get feedback on this idea. Thank you for taking a look and please give Howstr a try. It's available for Windows, Mac, Linux, and Linux 64. All you have to do is download it and run the executable from wherever you want (no installation necessary).
