PyZabbix is a Python module for working with the Zabbix API.
- Zabbix 1.8 or later
Install PyZabbix using pip:
$ pip install pyzabbix
You can now import and use pyzabbix like so:
from pyzabbix import ZabbixAPI
zapi = ZabbixAPI("http://zabbixserver.example.com", "httpauth user", "httpauth pass")
zapi.login("zabbix user", "zabbix pass")
print "Connected to Zabbix API Version %s" % zapi.api_version()
for h in zapi.host.get(extendoutput=True):
print h['host']
