A WordPress export file includes published comments on posts, but the comment text is ignored by wordpress-export-to-markdown. Extracting the comments from the xml appears to be feasible, though nontrivial. Figuring out how best to represent comments in Markdown may be more of a challenge. Is there any interest in adding such a feature?
