This looks like an interesting tool to digitize typefaces, however the README is a bit sparse:
GlyphCollector is a desktop application for typeface revival projects both as a production and research tool.
How exactly is this tool supposed to aid in the digitization of fonts?
E.g., is there a recommended methodology for turning the "collected" letterforms into Bézier curves and kerning information? For example, will autotracing all instances of a character and then blending all those autotracing results produce better results? Or is there another recommended methodology?

A "theory of operation" text would be helpful.
