The current code probably cannot deal with anchors. It is not exactly a feature that I need. However, I understand, that almost certainly there will be someone who needs this feature in the future.

If it's a generally useful feature for you, please let me know here.
Also, I would be very grateful for any ideas on how to deal with this.
