Agreed! We've fortunate to already have a person who's looking into designing a custom power-supply board. Better yet, it could be able to hold 2 Pi 5 module boards and deal with some of the interconnects between them!
Embarrassingly, we didn't think about how large the EU adapters and utility strips are. There's not even room to fit all the stuff into the current enclosure! :/
The Internal power strip takes up a huge amount of space, making the enclosure much larger and complicating wire management.
I believe every device can be powered off of USB-C voltages (5V, 9V, 12V, 15V, 20V).
The right USB-C charging brick and USB-C trigger boards/cables should greatly improve power management.
