Do you have the issue with only one broker in the servers field?
And do you get the same error when you hit the Save & Test button multiple times?

I'd like to try the datasource plugin, but experiencing the same problem.
I do have only 1 broker specified and getting the same error when hitting the Save & Test button multiple times.

At the moment, the only reason that comes to my mind is the compatibility of confluent-kafka-go package to some operating systems that are mentioned here. For Oracle Linux, it may be resolved by building the package from the source in the same os.
Additionally, we're considering changing the confluent-kafka-go package to resolve the problem for all of the operating systems.
