thanks for your software! I like it because it allows timestamping data, which is unavailable in putty. but I miss putty's ability to timestamp filenames, such as in file_%Y%M%D-%T.log:
so I just wanted to suggest this feature.

please anyone still develop this software? maybe able to send parameters via command line for filenames automatic logging starting with all the COM serial parameters and everything given in the gui to be automated?
or anyone else know any other OSS software for this means? thanks lots.
Not at the moment. I wrote this software for my own needs and it has all I needed. I was so kind to share it with all of you, provide installers, write some brief documentation and published the source code. All of this under GPL.
So everyone is invited to fork it and enhance it on their own. If I have time and mood or need a new function myself I will probably implement the requested functions.
JFYI: Because a lot changed in Java since version 9 some of my code do not work as expected when compiled under newer JDKs. I have to completely re-implement a lot of very basic things that have worked until now. So even very small enhancements is a lot of work.
