Definition

Scope is a trait which intentionally limits a possible context to a specific active context.

Scope can be described by assigning parameters to variable elements.

Notes

Scope may be perceived as the the proportional relationship (or ratio) of the magnitude of an element to the magnitude of a context which it's considered within.

Importantly, scope often indicates the relative size of an active context to a potential context.

Perceptions of scope often depend upon ordinal rather than interval comparison, and can be neither mathematical nor precise. Therefore, agents often describe scope vaguely and unofficially as small, medium, large or massive.

Mathematically precise scope, when possible, is the ratio of an interval to its dimension, or to another specific interval within that dimension.
