Enhancement: Support Air Handlers and additional equipment #97
Comments
I have a similar setup (minus the mini splits and cassette). Did you ever get this working? When I use it currently the air handlers go into the wrong modes and stuff doesn’t work right. I would also be happy to provide debug logs and help with anything needed. |
I never heard anything back from anyone in this community so never moved this forward. Sorry! ¯_(ツ)_/¯ |
Just curious, how are you controlling you units? Are you just using the MHK2’s? |
Mostly the awful Kumo Cloud app. Very occasionally the MHK2s or the mini split remotes. |
Hi, to help take a look at this, could you post some information from your Homebridge logs? |
I can post some logs in the next day or so. I just have to reenable the plug, but it appears that Kumo Cloud is down for me at the moment. I have noticed that the MHK2’s and the Kumo app show the following modes: Auto, Heat, AC, Fan Only, Dry Mode. However the Homekit section only show Auto, Heat, AC and Off I believe. Maybe that could have been part of the strange behavior I was seeing, specifically when using Dry and Fan Only modes. Could those be added to the Thermostat in the Home App or is that a limitation from the Apple side? |
I too am interested in air handler support, including fan only mode. i have: |
Hi,
I am just having a system installed that includes:
and (in January):
I expect some of this will work with the existing plugin, but I'd be happy to help develop any additional capabilities needed to operate anything that isn't covered.
I'm guessing the heat pumps don't really matter - it's about controlling the air handlers and mini splits and they'll take care of the heat pumps. Is that correct?
BTW, I tried to apply an enhancement label, but apparently don't have permission.
