Description

The initial work for the initiative to Reduce the number of imposter component instances in vets-website by 20% in FY25 consists of compiling a list of imposter components. There are a few sources with this information or places where we maybe able to pull that data.

Details

Some of the sources that have identified imposter components.

• Link to google sheet with Imposter components
• Confluence page of Staging Review findings per Design System component from Governance Team
• Here is a list of staging review tickets when the Governance team found imposter components.
• Look in the shame.scss file that we brought over from Formation to identify styles for imposters.

Tasks

• Review the list of imposter components that the Governance team has identified during staging reviews
• Check with Governance team on how they identify imposter components
• Determine how to identify imposter components
• Look in the shame.scss to find imposter components
• Compile a list of imposter components and where they are
• Share the list with DST

Acceptance Criteria

• A list of imposter components has been created
