Hello @pelle, @mirceanis.. Your repositories did-resolver, ethr-did-resolver, web-did-resolver are one of the work items in the DIF Identifiers and Discovery Working Group (I&D WG).

We haven't heard from you about this in a while... Would you mind letting us know:

  1. Do you still want your repo to be listed as a DIF work item, and are you still the lead(s) for this work item?
  2. Could you write a short summary here in this thread about the current status? Is it ongoing? Finished? Archived?
  3. (Optional) Would you like to give an update on one of the weekly I&D WG calls (starting again in September - see agenda page for schedule)?

Hi, @peacekeeper, thanks for asking.

All 3 repositories you asked about are still very much alive.
Since the specs are still in motion, I would say the work is not finished.
As leads go, I am the only maintainer for the moment.

In terms of status, did-resolver is implementing did-resolution arbitrage for other DID methods.
The next big change planned there is to support dereferencing of DID doc components.
The other 2 libraries conform to its API and are usually used together.
web-did-resolver is fairly stable in terms of functionality and spec conformance already.
ethr-did-resolver is still in development, both as a DID method and as a library (the spec is hosted in the same repo).

I will try to join the weekly from time to time, but I can't confirm a schedule now.

I hope this info helps.
