What feature or change would you like to see made?

Possibility to add text in canvas. Similar to ArrowAnnotationTool label.

Why should we prioritize this feature?

Most of the dicom viewing softwares have this feature. This could very helpful to describe some parts in dicom image.

I think we should include it since it's easy to add. Do you want to give it a try? Slicer Project week is coming up (https://projectweek.na-mic.org/PW42_2025_GranCanaria/), and this would be a great project to work on. I'm available that week and can definitely help.
