Dear
I have problems with Monocle3 installation. Maybe, I have too high R version and Bioconductor.

The downloaded binary packages are in
C:\Users\u0153852\AppData\Local\Temp\Rtmpch3sXN\downloaded_packages
── R CMD build ────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────
✔ checking for file 'C:\Users\u0153852\AppData\Local\Temp\Rtmpch3sXN\remotes30f03cb05dc\cole-trapnell-lab-monocle3-98402ed/DESCRIPTION' ...
─ preparing 'monocle3': (1.8s)
✔ checking DESCRIPTION meta-information ...
─ cleaning src
─ checking for LF line-endings in source and make files and shell scripts
─ checking for empty or unneeded directories
Omitted 'LazyData' from DESCRIPTION
─ building 'monocle3_1.3.7.tar.gz'

ERROR: dependency 'leidenbase' is not available for package 'monocle3'

  • removing 'C:/GBW_MyPrograms/R-4.4.0/library/monocle3'
    Warning messages:
1: package ‘leidenbase’ is not available for this version of R

Error: Bioconductor version '3.14' requires R version '4.1'; use version = '3.19' with R version 4.4; see
https://bioconductor.org/install

Will Monocle work with the latest versions of R?
