We could design a minimal status bar, based around a 10-LED bar graph or two, possibly suitable for mounting on glyphs. While I've thought about a "bit-packing" kind of display, the simplest thing to do is probably have two bargraphs (conveniently, typically available in red, yellow, and "BGGGGYYYRR" "battery-level" coloration), which count down the game and round time remaining.

A different, but related idea: Honestly, even just a 10-LED device that simply cycles through lighting up one segment each second could be convenient on Glyphs of Recharge, to aid in counting out seconds. I've noticed that ten "hyped on adrenaline" seconds pretty consistently tend to take a significant bit less time than ten real seconds — though that might be considered a feature, not a bug. 😉
