we have to do different processing based on the identity of the channels
(Jose does ratiometric for GACh3.8 & rDA3m), but Steph may do green dlight 3.8 with pyphot and needs isosbestic etc

maybe this can be inferred automatically based on # of channels (Jose has 3 Steph would have 2)?
